I joined some of the trip by the hostel, and I can recommend it, really informative and you can explore some hidden part of the island.

Hotel Arcanjo is housed in a 19th century building that combines traditional and modern design. It is ideally situated 50 metres away from the beachfront, south of the São Miguel Island. Decent breakfast, comfortable, quiet, very friendly staff and good vibes. We will definetely book this hotel again if we return back to Sao Miguel. Thanks for everything!

Loving Strangers Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Madalena. The accommodation provides karaoke and a shared kitchen. The hostel is very spacious, clean and well equipped. I felt very comfortable the days I stayed there. The nice atmosphere makes it easy to get in touch with people. Stefan's and Pedro's attention was magnificent, very kind and helpful. Grand hotel that I think has only recently opened. Lovely views of Monte Brasil. Has a swimming pool. Spacious airy feel to the place and interesting history. Staff are very helpful, professional and friendly. Very personalised feel to the place due to high staff/guest ratio; were able to assist me a lot. Nice breakfast. Large area in front of entrance to park car.

Located in Ponta Delgada, Santa Alegria Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Extremely clean and well run hostel. The host was very helpeand accommodating. I was impressed.
