The surrounding National Park offers plenty of scenic routes for walking and cycling, and Ambleside is a 10-minute drive away. Windermere Rail Station is a 5-minute drive from the building. There is free parking and secure bike lock up on site. Very nice and cosy room with kettle, tea and coffee. Debbie (the host) is very lovely lady, and it was really nice chatting to her every morning. The breakfast is delicious and freshly made. The location is very good as it is close to the main road and easy to navigate around. The bus stop is also nearby which is perfect as at times it is easier to just take the bus instead of a car.

There is also a guest lounge with a log fire and lake views. Everything was fantastic my parents loved their room. They were so relaxed with the views out the window. The vomfy beds to room size. The pool they used was great! The service for the 2 nights was superb! Overall they were tickle pink!
