Ashfield Guesthouse, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Douglas, 1 km from TT Grandstand, 12 km from Laxey Wheel, as well as 22 km from Castle Rushen. Wendy the host was lovely, very chaty and very welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. A plus was a lovely cooked breakfast every morning. Definitely booking again for next year xx

Offering sea views, Sail Lofts is an accommodation located in Douglas, less than 1 km from Douglas Beach and 2.8 km from TT Grandstand. I travel a lot for work and stay in loads of hotels and apartments, mainly booked on Booking.com and Airbnb. Most are OK, some not great, but few are truly exceptional. The Sail Lofts are firmly in the exceptional category. The accommodation was excellent - comfortable and smartly furnished, the location was outstanding, the breakfast provided (in advance) was the best I've ever seen, and the stay was great value for money. Truly a (very rare) 10/10 for me, by far and away the best spot in Douglas that I've stayed - and there have been many!

Ideally located right in the sea front in Douglas, Isle of Man’s capital, Cubbon House offers bed and breakfast accommodation, en suite guest rooms and free WiFi. I picked on of the cheapest available but the friendliness, breakfast, quality of the bed far exceeded my expectations. Situated in an older house, full of charm, the location made transport very easy. Would stay there again.

Set just 30 metres from the sea, Inglewood is located in Douglas. It offers sea views, 24-hour parking and free WiFi access. The room and bed were very comfortable and the location was great. We brought our car with us and street parking was plentiful and free. The hosts were wonderful and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Located on the Isle of Man, in Douglas’s Marina, Waterfront Apartments feature self-catering accommodation with free Wi-Fi available throughout. All basics were fully met. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious bedrooms. Very comfortable beds. Nice linens, thick towels. Great location with many restarants nearby. Multiple electrical outlets in every room. Tesco 5 minute walk. Excellent wifi.

It’s homely, cosey, comfortable. The facilities are to a fabulous srandard. We’ve stayed in the queen room and it’s just gorgeous. Stayed 3 times now and can’t wait to go back. Breakfast is 5 star. Nothing is to much trouble for Margaret and always welcomes you with a smile. Love love love it

Featuring mountain views, The Cottage, Bridge House provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 1.7 km from Laxey Beach. Just returned from a lovely 4 night stay at The Cottage. This is a beautifully presented quirky one bedroom cottage, perfect for the two of us. Upon arrival The Cottage was immaculate & is very well supplied with everything you need for a self catering holiday. There is instant hot water even when heating isn't on, shower has great water pressure too. There is a small private patio area off the kitchen which we didn't use during our stay but in height of summer will be a lovely place to sit. The cottage is alongside the electric railway embankment & viaduct; we believe the cottage was there long before the railway (very slight noise as the train passes, but not intrusive at all). Approx a 10 mins walk to Laxey Beach which when we were there the sun was shining & the bay was a busy & happy place. We used (for the first time) public transport into Douglas, buses were every half hour up until 10pm, then hourly (good app available to check times etc). Short walk up some slightly steep hills onto the main road where there's local shops, pubs the electric railway & where you pick up public transport. Highly recommend & would definitely look at staying here again next time we're on the island.

The accommodation was exactly as described, bigger than I'd imagined and in a beautiful setting. It was wonderfully clean and high quality with everything we could have needed including the small important things we always forget in self-catering - washing up liquid, tea towels, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets etc. Asma and Lisa could not have been more helpful or accommodating. A perfect stay, thank you so much.
