Hotel El Balcón de la Bahía Suites in Santander provides adults-only accommodation with a pool and garden. It was wonderful to be greeted with a cold glass of wine after walking with backpacks from the train station in the heat. Our room was upgraded. Nice touches such as coffee machine and a cake for breakfast. Good to have a fridge. We received great restaurant recommendations, directions to walk to local sights and beaches, lots of useful information, nothing too much trouble, Guilliamo is a special guy, so welcoming, definitely enhanced our stay.

Situated in Santander, Cantabria region, Alojamientos Cantíber is set 700 metres from Santander Port. The host was more than understanding, and was very welcoming. The facilities are very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Posada Punta Liñera is set within a country estate, 2 km from San Vicente de la Barquera town centre. It offers rooms with private bathrooms and flat-screen TVs. We chose this hotel for the view and location - and it did not disappoint! We loved our stay. Simply stunning view from our room #5. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beautiful walks right from the hotel and an easy drive into town (we didn’t walk but you can.) Perfect location to explore the coast. Highly recommend this lovely posada!

Posada Rural La Solana Montañesa is 150 metres from the centre of Comillas, on Cantabria’s beautiful Green Coast. It offers traditional accommodation, with free Wi-Fi and wonderful mountain views. We had a beautiful corner room with windows on two sides and a wrap around balcony with table and chairs. Lovely view! It was impeccably clean and a comfortable size. Appreciated in room coffee/tea and fridge. Breakfast was lovely—juices, coffee, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, meats, cheeses, toast, croissants/pastries, melon, fresh fruit, etc. Loved every minute of our stay.
