It was an incredible experience, a comfortable little cottage in the middle of the woods, with the world's kindest host, and homemade dinner, which was one of the most delicious I've ever had on a trip like this. My partner and I came for a hiking trip around Lillafüred, and this was the most perfect little stop for our evening! I absolutely recommend it to everyone thinking about staying in the area.

If you’ve always wanted your own (bat)cave with personal jacuzzi look no further! Amazingly constructed personal jacuzzi and sauna area in an existing cave on the property. Also: outside there is a fire pit where you can make your own bonfire or even attempt a Pörkölt with the provided cauldron. The apartment itself is very nicely done with lots of attention to detail. Everything was clean and well maintained. The host was very friendly via messaging and check in and out was easy via lockbox access. You’re in the heart of Lillafüred and you have all of its attractions at your fingertips and all of Bükk national park within driving distance.

I knew that I wanted to visit Lillafured but, beyond that, I didn't know much. Hotel Szeleta turned out to be an excellent find. For me, the Palota Lillafured was completely out of my budget-range... but Hotel Szeleta was not :) . Hotel Szeleta and Lillafured are easily reached from Miskolc... I took the tramway from the train station all of the way to the end, and then transferred to Bus 5 or Bus 15, both of which head up to Lillafured. Hotel Szeleta is in a pretty town in the valley called Also-Hamor, so downstream from Lillafured. I think it was about 1- 1.5 km to walk to Lillafured by way of Felso-Hamor, another pretty town with the stream running through it. I was able to have a reasonable lunch at the restaurant in Palota and could walk their beautiful grounds... so it all worked out. In Also Hamor, there appeared to be some restaurants geared toward tourists... but as it was off-season they were not open yet.

It was cozy and modern at the same time! Everything was prepared for us (house was warm up, for example). Also it in the place between literally every spot of interest. Really nice bad. Big parking spot.
