The location, next to the Part-Dieu train station, was very convenient. The Westfield Mall on the other side of the train station had all kinds of stores, including a large grocer, and eateries. The studio apartment I had was on the 6th floor facing the tram lines, and I did hear some occasional traffic noise, but that didn't bother me too much. Entry to the building as well as to the apartment was based on digital codes, so I didn't have to carry around a key/card. The studio was clean and a perfect size for one person, although it may be cramped for more than one. The large bed was very comfortable. Liked having power outlets all over the apartment in the most convenient and logical spots. There was ample lighting. Although I did not use it, the laundry washer would come in handy; but there was no dryer.
