I had the best time at Schafli Manor. My room had a fantastic, awesome view on Chintsa bay and it was tastefully decorated, equipped for a comfortable stay despite loadshedding and whatnot. There is also a small pool and a beautiful garden. But what really went above and beyond was the loveliness of the fantastic host, Beulah, who cared for me like for a family member. I had great conversations with her and she was very helpful in so many ways: offering precious advices, recommending places and activities and even looking out for me after I was gone. I loved my stay here and would definitely love to come back. Totally recommended!

Boasting a garden and views of inner courtyard, Acacia Home is a recently renovated guest house set in Graaff-Reinet, 15 km from Valley of Desolation. The property has quiet street views and is 1.1 km from Graaff-Reinet Railway Station and 1.4 km from Reinet House Museum. When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. Manuela and Jegar are the perfect hosts, we felt very welcome and had a great time. Rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Will certainly come again!

Toni is an exceptional host and pays a lot of attention to detail. Our doggies and cat was well accommodated and we all slept very comfortably. A very good stop over spot after a long day's driving. Toni kept in contact the whole time to ensure that she is ready for when we arrived. Provisions were also made for loadshedding. And the breakfast was amazing!
