I came with 2 other friends and we arrived late and I left around 4am for an early flight. Agnes accommodated our late arrival and welcomed us with open arms, helped us settle in, and even woke up to greet me with breakfast at 4 o'clock in the morning! The beds are comfy and spacious and her family is all incredibly kind as well. 10/10 recommend!

Mambo Hideaway is a delightful oasis with an outdoor bar and lovely garden. I stayed in the bungalow and it was spacious, comfortable and clean with a good shower. Aziz and Glorie were terrific hosts. Glorie lives on site, takes care of everything, makes a delicious, abundant breakfast and will go out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. She even bought more fuel for the generator so I could access some important messages on wifi. Mambo Hideaway is a great value, run by warm and caring people and I'm very glad I stayed there.

Very cute and comfortable place to stay. The showers were warm and we loved the backyard where the staff built a fire one night. We appreciated the breakfast options, especially the good coffee. We also loved meeting Simba and Zazu, the sweet dogs they have at the house. Many nice touches and beautiful decor.

Featuring a garden and a shared lounge, Mazzola Safari House & Backpacking is located in Mianzini area, 1.4 km from Selian Town Clinic. I absolutely loved the place - Steven, Jamal and Innocent are amazing hosts - my only regret is that we didn’t hang out more! They were super helpful with any recommendations or information I needed, kind and fun. The place is lovely, they have a great chill room in the back near the garden - plenty of room to hang out. The breakfast was incredible and the room very clean. Definitely recommend it!

The pool the outdoor garden the atmosphere so welcoming you feel like you are at home! Cecil and Marley are so welcoming and they helped by storing my luggage while I went on a safari and also arrange to drive me to Kilimangiaro Airport which is pretty far. I enjoy spending time in the Garden & pool and have a beer even though my stay was short it was great. Also they made dinner the night I was there and it was vegetarian and it was one of the best dinner I had during the trip! Also both dogs are the cutest! Thank you so much!

All the staff is extremely welcoming and speak good English! They are so kind and help you with everything! The food they serve is excellent. They even provided gluten-free and lactose free mails for me. The sleeping room is very nice. Good bed, a fan and a nice big washroom with a good hot shower. The living room is very cosy with a big sofa where you can watch TV (incl. International channels) and relax like home. The price is very fair. They also arranged a nice massage for us. The location is perfect! It's quiet and safe so we slept very good. Sakina is a very nice place to walk around. With a taxi it's only 10 minutes tot he city centre for 5000 tzh. We recommend to go to the food and textile market. It's also close to all the safari companies. We stayed here for 4 days and would love to come back because it feels like home.
