It was surprisingly easy to find the Dosun considering all the smalls streets, stairs and alleyways. We arrived and welcomed by the hosts and they were very helpful in explaining what is available and where it was on a map when we checked in. They provided lovely egg sandwiches and coffee for breakfast. The room had a lovely view and was warm on the cold rainy nights we stayed. The beds are a little on the harder side but still comfortable.

Each room comes with a TV. Some rooms feature a seating area for your convenience. Rooms are equipped with a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find slippers, free toiletries and a hair dryer. Sunshine B&B features free WiFi throughout the property. The location couldn't have been better. I travelled with my elderly parents and wanted to be close to the old street without having to climb too many stairs. The owners were nice enough to give us the only room on the main floor. The room was spacious and the view was spectacular. The room and public areas were so clean and well maintained. The breakfast was also stellar and highlighted the essence of Taiwanese cuisine. From the decor to the quality of furniture and customer service, we could tell the owners put a lot of thought into running the b&b.

The property is perfect in every way, it’s like stepping into a completely different world. It creates a vibe that you live in the “spirited away” world. The location is super convenient, I walked to the old street in less than 10 minutes and you get to enjoy the quiet little town all by yourself before the tourists get in in the morning and after tourists leave at night. The host is super helpful when you need anything, you can also book day tours and massage to the room with the host. I’m extremely terrified of bugs, because this is in a forest and I was traveling by myself, that was a concern. But I didn’t encounter anything in my two nights of stay.

The location is very good, right at the top of Jishan street, where it is pretty quiet, but you can reach everything you need in Jiufen by only walking a couple of minutes. The room is spacious, has everything you need and a smart toilet as well as AC and a dehumidifier. Bed was very comfortable as well. The host is great! He welcomed me personally and told me a lot about Jiufen and the area and gave me recommendations for food as well as small trips. The price is reasonable, you really can't ask for anything more. There is also a breakfast included which the host places in front of your room door in the morning and you can collect and enjoy whenever you want, which was also very much appreciated. Great host and great place to enjoy Jiufen and the Pingxi area!

This was our first stop in a new country and we tried to catch a bus and the sweet staff got us one with no problem with google translate. 😁 was very thankful

From the moment we stepped into their home until we left, we felt like visiting our relatives house. With the help of the owner made our next challenging plan easier, we left Jiufen to Cingjing farm with their little note of Bus & Train connection schedules.They also approached us at the train station led us to the right platform while they didn't have to. Will definitely stay here for the next visit and recommend to all my family and friends 😊❤️. Another good memories in Taiwan for us.

There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The property offers allergy-free units and is situated 34 km from Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area. Very nice hotel and amenities. It is well located with beautiful view and within 5mins walking distance from Jiufen night market.

The rooms will provide guests with a microwave. The owner renovated their place and designed by themselves. The room is beautiful, made me feel I was in old Chinese movie.

Slowly B&B is 150 metres from Songde Park, while Gold Museum is 2.5 km away. It is 5 km from Ruifang Railway Station and 50 km from Taipei City. staff and owner are very nice and take care. the room is clean and breakfast is so delicious.
