Its location in the little Ollantaytambo train station! Walked 10 metres to board the train. The property has lovely character. The restaurant is excellent. The property’s reservations team works across both their properties, El Albergue and El Balcón in Cusco where we also stayed. They created an itinerary for us to visit Machu Picchu, including train and entrance tickets and transfers between Cusco and Ollantaytambo. All arrangements worked perfectly.

Amaru Colonial is a colonial inn in the artistic SanBlas district, 2 blocks from San Blas square. The charming central courtyard features soft lighting and a colorful flower garden. Aamiainen oli erittäin hyvä, runsas ja monipuolinen! Näkymät aamiaishuoneesta olivat kauniit. Hotellin sisäpihan puutarha oli ihana lukuisine kukkineen ja puineen. Huoneessa oli mahdollisuus saada patterilla lisää lämpöä, mutta en käyntini aikana tarvinnut sitä, huoneessa oli riittävän lämmintä. Teetä oli mahdollisuus hakea oleskelutilasta milloin vain. San Blas on kaunis alue, mutta sinne on keskustasta tullessa aika jyrkkää ylämäkeä. Minua se ei haitannut.

Offering city views, SAMANA B&B is an accommodation located in Cusco, 400 metres from Cusco Main Square and 700 metres from Religious Art Museum. Stayed here for 2 nights. Big room and very comfortable beds. Good sized bathroom. Breakfast was great, we got tea/coffee, fresh orange juice, a fresh fruit bowl, bread, butter/jam and they made eggs. Staff was very attentive. Got to leave our bags for a whole other day while doing a tour and got to use their facilities afterwards to get ready. 5 min walk from the main square.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Luisa is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Ollantaytambo, 18 km from Bus Station. The staff has been exceptionally kind, assisting us with room arrangements. The overall environment and location are quite favorable.

Featuring a shared lounge and views of city, linda house cusco is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Cusco, 4.1 km from Wanchaq Train station. My friend and I stayed at Linda House Cusco for 2 nights and loved it. Linda and Edson are great hosts We got a private room with a private bathroom and we’re thankful for the calm atmosphere while acclimatizing to the high altitude. Linda and Edson also helped to get an overview of tours in and around Cusco.

Well set in Cusco, Nature Home Cusco provides a continental breakfast and free WiFi. The stay in Natural Hostel was great. The Hostel has few simple rooms, so it was quiet, good to sleep and also a great place to get in contact with other backpackers. Our Host Christian was super helpful and made everything possible. So we extended our stay for a few more nights. He arranged a Taxitour to Pisac for a fair price, gave lots of great hints and we could store our backpacks during our tour at the salkantay trek. Way down to la plaza approx. 6min/8min up:) A lot of small Restaurants are arround. The Crepe next door is great as well. We recommend Christians place! BR J&A

Offering inner courtyard views, Casa Agustina is an accommodation set in Cusco, less than 1 km from Cusco Main Square and a 14-minute walk from Religious Art Museum. We like everything, from the start until the end. The location is perfect. The house is very cozy and good value for money. The family, that runs that business couldn't be more helpful and nice. Paola, Pilar and the rest of the family made us feel like at home. Every breakfast was amazing and we couldn't ask for better start of the day. We don't speak Spanish but this wasn't a problem when speaking with the hosts. Originally we booked two nights and end up spending six. It was hard to leave. We will definitely recomend this property to anyone who wants to feel like at home away from home. :)

Offering a garden and garden view, Casa Inka B&B is set in Ollantaytambo, 18 km from Bus Station and 19 km from Main Square. This hotel is so perfectly decorated and so clean. The owner has put in lots of effort in making the visitors feel like home. Breakfast is awesome. Bathroom is modern with really hot water which makes the big difference after a day of hiking. I will definitely come back.
