Situated in Takaka in the Tasman region, Labyrinth Gardens Guest House offers accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. What an absolutely amazing place! Our room was so quiet and comfy and the shared toilet and shower was clean and spacious. The kitchen was so well stocked (spices, utensils, pans, etc). This guest house is better than the pictures! The views in and around the house are absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed having my coffee out on the front deck with an amazing view of the mountains. The owner was eager to help make us comfortable and offer suggestions on what to do in the area :) thank you!!

Fabulous place with superb welcoming owners. Everything tip top including the wonderful garden. Fires alight to warm and welcome us. Fabulous evening meal by the local chef. Unique and unmissable. Helen you are a super star. Clint you are wonderful too.

A 10 in all categories - Leigh was one of the kindest hosts on a 90 day journey through NZL When I'm back to NZL I'll definitely will return. Thanks for everything ;-)

Offering free WiFi and set on the bank of a stream, Chalet Karaka offers accommodation 3 minutes' drive from Takaka village in Golden Bay. Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Featuring barbecue facilities, Redwood Valley B & B is located in Richmond. This property provides both free WiFi and private parking free of charge. Really nice breakfast, chilled area, enjoyed it a lot.

I lost my passport and Doug the handyman kept me sane by keeping me entertained. Terrific breakfast. Huge room. Loved the old fashioned villa style. Full of character.

Appleby House & Rabbit Island Huts offer two different accommodation types and is located between Richmond and Mapua on the road to the Abel Tasman National Park. The glamping tent was awesome. Secluded spot, away from the rest of the accomodation. The view was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

Set amongst 4 acres of gardens, Murchison Lodge offers free breakfast and free Wi-Fi internet access. This was an absolute gem. Everything perfect including Fabulous breakfast. If you are staying overnight in Murchison this is the place to stay.
