In one month in Asia, this was by far our best stay. The hosts are amazing, organized free airport pickup and drop-off, as well as the mangrove tour and scooter rental. We even lucky enough to be invited to have dinner with them for only 10 RM, and it was an amazing meal. Great way to connect with the local culture, as well as a few other guests.

Pondok Keladi Langkawi Guesthouse, que cuenta con jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis, se encuentra en Pantai Cenang, a 15 min a pie de Pantai Tengah y a 1,5 km de Playa de Cenang. This was one of our best stays ever. Dee and Marc are so nice and helpful! We loved everything about this place and hope to come back one day! The cats are the cutest and so cuddly, already miss them! Thank you so much for the most perfect stay! :)

The Temak Villa, que tiene piscina al aire libre, jardín, terraza y wifi gratis, está en Pantai Cenang, a 8 min a pie de Pantai Tengah y a 1,5 km de Playa de Cenang. Las instalaciones, todo muy limpio. Sobre todo los dueños son súper amables y ayudan en todo.

El Veranda Nautica se encuentra en Kuah y ofrece alojamiento con balcón. Hay conexión WiFi gratuita. El precio es caro, comparado con los precios de la zona pero el sitio es precioso y tiene unas vistas espectaculares que valen mucho la pena. La habitación muy bonita, grande, bien decorada y equipada (minibar, secador de pelo, toallas, botellas de agua, máquita de café y té...). Los dueños son súper amables y nos ayudaron en todo y estuvieron pendientes de nosotros durante toda la estancia. También nos pusieron en contacto con un particular que alquilaba motos muy bien de precio, nos pasaron un contacto para contratar una excursión por los manglares de la zona (precio estándar) y puedes contratar que te lleven el día de vuelta al aeropuerto por 50 MYR (eso si es más caro que un Taxi pero con la comodidad de que si te vas temprano no te tienes que preocupar de si va a haber taxis disponibles) . También nos prepararon desayuno con fruta fresca cada día (si te vas pronto puedes hablar con ellos y te lo hacen más temprano sin problema). El día de llegada a Langkawi nos adelantaron el vuelo y lo perdimos y los dueños nos ofrecieron quedarnos un día más gratis para compensar el primero, ya que no tenían la habitación reservada.

Ku's Roomstay, que está a 2,8 km de Playa de Cenang y a 3,1 km de Laman Padi Langkawi, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño privado en Pantai Cenang. Si bien no es tan central, pero en auto o scooter estás a menos de 7 minutos de la calle principal. Lo que si a metros tienes un montón de puestos de comida. Es muy tranquilo, puedes hacer refill de agua, la pieza estaba impecable y la respuesta del anfitrión era inmediata. Arrendamos una scooter con ella durante toda la estadía y a un precio muy conveniente. Ibamos a estar solo 3 días acá y luego me cambiaría a otro hotel pero decidí extender la estadía acá ya que nos sentíamos muy cómodos.

OCEAN LODGE se encuentra en Pantai Cenang, a 9 min a pie de Playa de Kuala Teriang, y ofrece servicio de conserjería, jardín, wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento y bar. The proprietors, Didi and Nanthi, are wonderful hosts. From the moment I arrived I felt like I had come home. I've been travelling for 3 months and Ocean Lodge is the best place I've stayed. if you are the type of traveller who would rather not stay in a big hotel, make your way to the Ocean Lodge. The rooms are super cozy, the bed is so comfortable, not too hard and not too soft, the location is quiet. You hear birds chirping in the morning rather than road traffic noise. Breakfast is prepared to the customer's taste; eggs, omelets, toast and Swiss style meusli. Hammocks in the garden for relaxation. Didi also rents scooters for transportation. I have no hesitation to recommend Didi and Nanthi's Ocean Lodge; when/if I return to Langkawi there's no other place I want to stay. Friends for life!!!
