Todd and Jeanne are exceptional hosts-the moment we arrived we felt right at home, they got us a cool drink and let us take a breath after our long journey as we settled in. They are such warm and generous people, we just felt so happy and welcome. But of course, the place itself is beautiful! They filled the hotel with beautiful Mexican pottery, incredible woven light shades, and fine woven textiles. We were asking them where they found almost every single thing. Aesthetically, it’s a 10/10-and we’re fussy! Our room was incredibly comfortable, with every thing considered, from the lighting to the bathroom layout. Todd and Jeanne gave us some top notch dining suggestions that were just down the road, and then we slept like babies. In the morning, the breakfast was incredible!! We had overnight oats, followed by eggs, delicious fresh bread and fantastic coffee. Just to sit in the spectacular kitchen was a treat in itself. We didnt have time for a swim, but the pool is beautiful and looked so inviting. I cant say enough!

It is extremely clean hostel. The kitchen is very well equipped and very clean. You would like to cook in this kitchen because it looks like at home. Everything looks new. It has a great patio with hammocks and a swimming pool. Very good hot shower - one of the best in Mexico. Great location and perfect Wi-Fi.

Located in Xpujil, Ecohabitat features accommodation with seating area. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. I liked everything and have no complaints. The breakfast was amazing, and everyone was incredibly nice. The room had a/c, comfortable and clean beds, and a little screened in porch for our individual place. It was lovely, and I would stay there again.

Hostal Otoch Beek is located in Becan, 102 km from Calakmul archaeological site and 8 km from Xpujil, the main town. Otoch Béek Calakmul features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. The place was in a cute little residential area that we walked through. Lots of turkeys and chickens around and friendly street dogs. We saw too women in a small community centre making hammocks and we watched them for awhile. It was very interesting. The property itself was very well maintained and had a cute kitten and cat roaming around to play with. Comfortable bed and hot water shower. Beautiful simple breakfast brought to the table on the deck in the morning. Sitting drinking coffee to bird sounds in the morning. It was lovely!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Casa de Zari is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Campeche, 1.1 km from Campeche XXI Convention Centre. The hosts and home are absolutely lovely.Tasty breakfasts and friendly service. It's located a little outside of the center, but quite walkable. The only thing we could have wished for was a little warm water for the showers, but we didn't have that in most places. The host also gave great recommendations for restaurants. :-) And it was very handy to have a space to park our rental car off the street. Definitely recommend!
