A great book for traveling around Mexico. 7. Elda and her husband met us and saw us off. Elda thank you for your warmth, coziness and comfort.

This has been one of the best stays ever! When we arrived, Todd, the owner was buying ice cream and he bought some for us. We felt like staying with friends or family. The house is sooo beautiful, wonderful and special… It’s really a hidden gem in Campeche! The room was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The breakfast (cooked by the owners) was out of this world. Jeanne’s overnight oats are to die for! She even thought me how to make them 😊 Their staff was the best, Wendy and Giselle were always so attentive and accommodating to our questions and needs. We had a great time interacting with the owners and their personnel. I could keep writing a list of all the wonderful things about this place… If you go to Campeche don’t think it twice. Stay here! I promise you won’t regret! Todd and Jeanne go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay.

This is probably the nicest hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Boutique hotel conditions while retaining the things that make hostelling fun. Lovely facilities, staff and amenities, ideal location.

Located in Xpujil, Ecohabitat features accommodation with seating area. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. We had such a great stay at Ecohabitat in Xpujil! Our favourite stop yet on our Mexican road trip. Breakfast was awesome and is included! We got the choice of quesadilla or eggs and everything comes with fruit and toast and coffee or tea. Always served on time and delicious. Room was very clean and tidy and staff were friendly and helpful. Big shoutout to Jorge who was our lovely receptionist, maintenance man, cleaner, and server. He was kind enough to unlock our room at 9:30pm after I accidentally locked us out. Hotel is along a major trucking route, but the hotel makes this very clear and it wasn’t a surprise. Pretty much everywhere along this route has been affected by the Tren Maya construction. Noise was covered up by A/C which was awesome. Private parking is a great bonus. Such a cute place and great access to Calakmul. We also loved the covered patio and spent evening out there listening to the crickets.

It’s an old house in the very centre of Campeche, rooms are comfy and have high ceilings and hammocks. There’s also place to chill outside. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Raul and his family are amazing!! We were basically part of it from the first moment! The place is amazing and we wished we could have stayed at least 2 nights in the calm and really nice town Many nature spots to see (walk in the jungle with Raul, cave with millions of bats, [expensive] cenote) Breakfast, dinner and lunch can be prepared by his mother (if you want) which is amazing because there are not many places around Recommended!!
