I recently had the pleasure of staying at Shogo's home, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. This 150-year-old historical building, offers a charming blend of tradition and modern comfort for a memorable stay. Shogo, the owner, was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout my stay. He went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Not only did he provide excellent recommendations for local restaurants, but he also made reservations on my behalf. The location was nice and easy to find if you go by a car, with the added bonus of having an onsen and a supermarket nearby. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere.

ゲストハウス奈良庵 B&B Nara An, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Nara, 5.9 km from Nara Station, 12 km from Iwafune Shrine, as well as 17 km from Nippon Christ Kyodan Shijonawate Church. Everything was perfect!! Both hosts were super nice and welcoming :D They also recommended a lovely izakaya to have dinner! Breakfast was amazing, and the view from the living room was great! They also decorated the guesthouse for Halloween, which was cute! :) We would love to stay here again! :D

Close to station, exceptional and really nice staff (we spoke half Japanese half English), spacious and comfortable bed/room.

Offering river views, 吉野長屋 is an accommodation set in Yoshino, 42 km from Tanpi Shrine and 43 km from Mihara History Museum. Great host, super clean and very ample

Fukubatake B&B is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Yoshino, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property is away from town and very quiet and peaceful, allowing for a good night's rest. The included breakfast was home cooked and piping hot - vegetable soup, potato omelette, salad, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and home baked bread, butter and jam, coffee or tea. There is hot water, coffee, tea, and biscuity snacks available downstairs 24/7. There are just 2 rooms, both upstairs, in traditional Japanese style - tatami and futon. The hosts are both charming, and extremely helpful, picking up from the nearest station and helping me changing my train ticket. I will stay there again if I come back to Yoshino.

Set in Nara, 4.7 km from Nara Station and 22 km from Iwafune Shrine, Niwamori_org offers free bikes and air conditioning. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. I really enjoyed the traditional Japanese home and space. I also enjoyed the host, Jerome, showing me the garden and allowing me to pick vegetables with him to cook. The place is well stocked with needed amenities, and the host did a great job explaining how it all works. Next time I'm in Japan I will try to come back to Nara just to stay here!

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, 彩 irodori 1日1組一軒家の宿 ペットOK is set in Gojō, 30 km from Subaru Hall and 40 km from Mizugaike Park. We loved absolutely everything at Irodori. The ryokan is beautiful, thoughtfully and artistically designed, very quiet and spacious. She served the best cup of fresh ground coffee I've had in my 4 weeks travelling throughout Japan. She was helpful in meeting our train late in the evening and helped us forward luggage to another hotel a bit further out on our journey.

Located in Gose, 23 km from Subaru Hall and 29 km from Tanpi Shrine, Katsuemon offers a garden and air conditioning. This guest house features free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. This place is one is the most magnificent that we have ever visited. Peaceful hidden gem with very hospitable hosts. Authentic interior, stunning garden view from the room and atmosphere of traditional Japanese culture made our visit very touching, cozy and unique💗
