The owners are extremely kind and helpful. It is located further out in the countryside which is peaceful and quiet. The home is a typical Japanese home with tatami rooms and shared bathroom and ofuro, it’s a good experience for foreign travellers wishing to stay in a clean and affordable accommodation in Furano.

Featuring 1-star accommodation, Sapporo Guest House 庵 Anne is set in Sapporo, 14 km from Sapporo Station and 25 km from Otaru Station. We had an amazing breakfast! It was a bit cold in the mornings but didn't take away from the experience much. The owner was so kind and helpful and even invited us to karaoke.

The owner and the staff were very nice. They helped me bring my luggage to my room and always poured me water when I needed to refill my bottle. They were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and visit. The hostel is very cozy and clean. It can get challenging to go to the hostel from the train station especially when you have a luggage but aside from that, everything was perfect and I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in sapporo :)

Probably the best place to stay in sapporo, especially for first timers as you are welcomed with some of the greatest hospitality I’ve ever had as well as being around the nicest guests in the world. Yoshi san is very friendly and hardworking. If tipping was a thing in Japan I would be generous.
