A spacious and comfortable room with a small balcony, dressing area and nice big bathroom. Breakfast, ordered the night before, was delivered to my room at exactly the time I selected and was freshly made and delicious. The staff (especially Claudia) could not have been more welcoming and indulged my pitiful attempts to speak Italian with a smile!

Excellent location and we had a great and characteristic room. Very clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I’d recommend this place to others visiting Florence.

Corte Calzaiuoli Elegant Suites is situated in the centre of Florence, 200 metres from Piazza della Signoria. The room was very nice. We got a room facing the back patio that was very quiet considering the buildings is in the middle of Florence. The bed is delicious. Staff is great. If you can avoid driving a car into Florence’s downtown area, I really recommend it; it’s chaotic and streets are very narrow. But if you end up taking a car, the staff will help you get it picked up at the front door of the building to be taken to a garage.
