Desde nuestra habitación se podía ver el mar entrar en el fiordo, escuchar las gabiotas...fue precioso. En cuanto a la casa, la compartimos con un grupo de 4 amigas, que se alojaron en la planta superior, y una chica que viajaba sola, que se alojaba en la planta inferior. Pese a ser 7 en la casa, los espacios son suficientemente grandes y cómodos para todos.

The Old Bookstore se encuentra en Flateyri y ofrece salón compartido y jardín. Este bed and breakfast tiene vistas al jardín y está a 18 km de Ísafjörður. This is a hidden gem in heart of Flateyri. We spent there a romantic New Years Eve and we were more than amazed by this beautful experience. It is a family run bookstore/accommodation business for decades with nicely preserved antique interior. Host gave us a quick tour in the building. Kitchen was full of kitchenware, spices, sweets and food for breakfast. Lots of books, boardgames, guitar to play and so on. This is one of 2 best places in Vestfirdir for a romantic stay.

Las habitaciones están equipadas con zona de estar y TV de pantalla plana. simple but completely clean studio apartment with plenty of space for two people. It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.

El Gistiheimilið Bergistangi se encuentra en Norðurfjörður. Algunas habitaciones tienen baño compartido y terraza. Beautifull spot on the what felt like the edge of the world.

Nice, wooden cabins, the patio is a nice addition, the room was very clean, the receptionist was very warm and welcoming, all in all, I would recommend this place for any future travellers :)

El Sudavik guesthouse se encuentra en Súðavík y ofrece salón compartido, jardín, terraza y wifi gratis. El alojamiento cuenta con cocina compartida y parque infantil. We booked the three person room for just my husband and I so we could get a private bathroom. We lucked out and were the only ones booked for the night on the ground floor, so we could make use of the kitchen area and living room fully (loved all the local books + maps). It was super cozy and hosts were very thoughtful to provide free coffee grounds and tea! We had a very restful night and morning! If you stay and there are others booked on your floor for the three person room, it would still be pretty private even thought bathroom was in a separate door from bedroom and you needed to use a separate key to get in. The hosts installed a small curtain to let you go between bedroom and bathroom privately.
