It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.

Located in the fishing village of Patreksfjördur with panoramic views of the fjord, this guesthouse has free WiFi and a guest kitchen. The staff. They made sure that we had an amazing time. They gave us tips on when to see puffins and when we went looking for them, they extended the hours of breakfast for us. The place is spotless and the breakfast is by far the best we had during almost 2 weeks in Iceland. Highly recommend this place.

Providing mountain views, Guesthouse at Dynjandi Falls in Bíldudalur provides accommodation, a private beach area, a terrace and a shared lounge. The hosts are very kind and the stylish house is located in a fantastic landscape. It is also possible to use a hot tub and a swimming pool. We had a great time here and I can highly recommend this place! We are coming back for sure.

The most beautiful accommodation I have been to in Iceland. You can find books about puffins, relief, flora and fauna of Iceland. There are also games and multiple paintings with birds. It does not seem to be an accommodation, but a home in which the owners have put their soul. the location is gorgeous, it reminds me of the Lofoten islands. unfortunately it is not open in winter because there is a risk of avalanche, but you can catch the snow, as we did in the first days of October. I love the simplicity and Nordic influences of this place!
