Lækjaborgir Guesthouse is located in Kálfafell, 26 km east of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. From the moment we stepped into the house, it was obvious that the owner had put allot of effort and love into making this place. You could tell that, by the warm decoration of the room and cosy feel, the brand new furniture, the smell of cleanliness, the well washed dishes and silverware, the well stocked kitchenette with coffee, cooking oil, salt and pepper, etc, the abundance of clean towels, the assortment of board games, and so on. This is one of those places were you wish you would get stranded because of weather or whatever, so that you have an excuse to stay there for a week and just relax and enjoy life.

Hvammból Guesthouse is a small, family-run guest house situated 10 km from Vík. Hvammból Guesthouse is close to Vik and at the perfect location to view the northern lights from as it is far from light polution. We saw them on our first night there! The studio was comfortable and had everything described! Highly recommended and we would gladly return!

This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast. Gostoljubje lastnikov me je prav presenetilo. Počutili smo se kot doma. Največje presenečenje pa je bil okusen zajtrk v prečudovitem ambientu. Pa zvečer smo videli še severni sij.

Although I stayed only for one night, it felt like home to me! Our host is exceptionally service oriented and her attention to details is mind blowing. Everything is so clean and well organized. The kitchen is also fully equipped. I (or we) really enjoyed our stay here. I wish our host all the best and I hope her new guests will also be as satisfied as us!

Nastanitev Prestshús 2 Guesthouse je v mestu Vík, 12 min hoje od znamenitosti Plaža Reynisfjara in 33 km od znamenitosti Slap Skogafoss, ter nudi vrt, brezplačen WiFi v celotni nastanitvi in... Such a lovely place. The room and kitchen are spotlessly clean. Einar and Ragga took the time to show us their sheep and horses. Their three dogs are so cute and friendly. We spent the evening playing with them while watching the sunset.

Check-in and check-out was super easy. Communication with our really friendly host always quick and helpful. The apartment is cute and has all you need for two: Well-stocked kitchenette, super clean and modern bathroom, a giant TV (even though we never switched it on), and the place has its own private hot tub in the backyard! The location is perfect as it's just around the corner from Selfoss' central roundabout, so you'll find it easily and have a great base for exploring Iceland's beautiful southside. Also, you can drive to Reykjavík in just about one hour.

Nastanitev Landbrot Guesthouse je v mestu Kirkjubæjarklaustur, 25 km od znamenitosti Fagrifoss, in ponuja pogled na vrt. Lokacija je zelo primerna za opazovanje severnega sija. Navdušila so nas ogromna okna, skozi katera lahko ob jasni noči opazuješ nebo. Prostor dopolnjuje velik TV z Netflixom. Lokacija omogoča dnevne izlete do Hofna na vzhodu ter v smeri Vika na jugu.
