Everything was perfect :) Despite a last minute booking, everything was ready when we arrived. Our host was very nice and thoughfull ; as we were alone in the house, she gave use "the best room" and indeed it was extremely comfy, and with a very nice bathroom. Common spaces were large and very functionnal. Everything was brightly clean :) In addition, while the host doesn't offer breakfast, she told us to help ourselves with everything we needed in the fridge, and it was more than enough for a good breakfast

Every part of the accommodation is very clean, and the facilities and amenities are well-provided. The common areas have various jams and beverages for self-service, and there are even toys for children to play with. We also really like the owner's decorations.

Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. The place is a part of the Helgafell, which is a mountain top with significance in the Norse mythology. The house is neat and clean with very helpful owner. The highlight is definitely Morley, the host's dog who is so friendly that he not only visited us during the night and morning but actually accompanied us,together with another black Labrador, when we hiked the Helgafell hill. All these made a very special and warm stay.

The room was very spacious, the beds extremely comfortable! We only stayed for one night but we really enjoyed it! The staff was very helpful and ready to answer all the questions:) kitchen was well equipped, even with filtered coffee and all kinds of dry food left by other travelers. The area was peaceful with beautiful roads around and views. We'll definitely return there! Thank you!

Grundarfjordur Bed and Breakfast is located in Grundarfjordur and features a bar. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Free WiFi is available. Great location, super easy to get in contact with the hosts. As it was sunday and everything was closed (or restaurants nearby were expensive), we asked the host to borrow us some plates and cutelary and they were suuuper nice and brought them to our room so we could cook some quick pasta. Even though we were placed near a street we did not hear a thing and we slept just fine. Highly recomend.

Set in the quiet countryside of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this family-run guest house is 45 minutes’ drive from Stykkishólmur town centre. Gorgeous little hotel in a stunning location. The service, food and scenery was 10/10. Being able to walk out of our room and see the northern lights in the sky really was the icing on the cake during our stay. Would highly recommend.
