Very good location,room is big and brefast is good! From the restaurant you can see the cows 😄,we had dinner there and was very delicious!in the evening we saw the northern lights outside our room ! Frostastaðir guesthouse is situated 12 km from Varmahlid by road 76, and features barbecue facilities, garden and terrace. Free WiFi is included. It was self catering but we cooked a evening meal and then a cooked breakfast the next day. We lingered as long as we could - didnt want to leave. this is a property that deserves a 2 or 3 day stay to relax and go out hiking in the day time. We would go back again for longer if visiting iceland again.

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. Everything was perfect, big kitchen with a big common area. Only four rooms with private bathrooms so it was really peaceful. We had breakfast with a really nice couple what made the stay even better.
