Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. We did not have time to use the spa. Breakfast choice was very good. The view out on to the harbour was really fantastic, smell of salty water and seaweed, just like home. Beautiful dining area. I met the owner of the property, who was really nice to speak with. The staff were great too. The northern lights were just so beautiful.

We used the hot tub and sauna, which was great after a long day of travel. And we saw beautiful northern lights at this location. Elsa was kind to show them to us as they started up, and informed the other guests next to us also. They were a spectacular show of northern lights, and one of the highlights of our trip. We also got to give the sheep a bottle. So cute!

Finnstaðir has barbecue facilities and a garden. A hot tub is available for guests. Free WiFi is offered. All units at the guest house are equipped with a seating area and a TV. I liked everything! My family spent lovely evening, hot tub was very nice for us. We liked animals around us, especially friendly dog and cat. They visited us and made a great company. Most important we felt like at home… super cozy!

Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. Very clean and roomy, and stylish. Plus toiletry is provided in room.

Lagarfell Studios se găsește în Egilsstaðir, la 37 km de Hengifoss, și are o grădină, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. Very clean and correct. A great value for money. The host was very nice and welcoming. Easy to find with their own parking.

Located by the harbour in Höfn village, Oldairline Guesthouse offers a shared kitchen/lounge, plus free WiFi and parking. Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon is a 1-hour drive away. Excellent stay and very welcoming host, best place we stayed in Iceland so far

Situated on a horse farm by Iceland’s Ring Road, this bed and breakfast is 8 km from Höfn village. It offers bright and basic rooms with free WiFi access and mountain views. Good place to explore this region, or to stay for longer vacation.

Overlooking Lake Lagarfljót, this guest house is 5 minutes’ drive from central Egilsstadir. All rooms include free WiFi access, a fridge and a private bathroom with shower. A very comfortable guest house, which had good sized bedrooms with private bathrooms. An excellent kitchen and dining area, which was very well equipped. A great location just off the ring road.

This family-run guest house, off the Ring Road in southeast Iceland, is 7 km from Höfn. Free WiFi is available. Well designed interior, cozy living space and a spotless kitchen. Bathroom and our beds made us feel home. 10/10 would stay here again.
