Set in Gangtok, Monratino Ridge View is a recently renovated accommodation, 1.9 km from Enchey Monastery and 2.3 km from Palzor Stadium. It was a great experience! The hosts were very kind and helpful. They made an effort to get to know me and provided me with all the amenities needed for a good experience. The breakfast, chai and food requested were always delicious! The property is 5 minute's walk from the heart of gangtok, but in such a quite area that you forget that you're in a center. A gem to find! Highly recommend it to everyone.

Beautiful flower garden with birds around. Via steep stairs in 10 minutes to MG Marg. Going up not bad at all if you take your time. And very interesting. Friendly staff.

Sleepy Sam -The Traveller’s Hostel is set in Gangtok, less than 1 km from Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, a 13-minute walk from Do Drul Chorten Monastery, as well as 2.3 km from Palzor Stadium. Great location next to share taxi stand to Siliguri via shortcut. Amazing views from the rooftop despite being within the city, not far from MG Marg. Very friendly host whom has thought of every detail. Everything is super clean, comfy and the shower water is hot with fan for circulation. There is a kitchen, dining table, kettle, toaster, utensils, plates, cups and everything. An iron and ironing board is available, like at home. Huge cupboard to secure storage and individual shoe compartment. Curtains on the dorm beds for extra privacy, charging sockets and light, cooling fans in the room. Complimentary breakfast. Communal area has a big TV with Netflix/Youtube etc.

Denzong Khim is set in Gangtok, 1.2 km from Enchey Monastery, 1.8 km from Palzor Stadium, as well as 3 km from Ganesh Tok View Point. Denzong Khim was just 10 minutes walk away from MG Road. But just like every hilly area, it would take 10 minutes to reach via cab and costs around 150-200 rupees. Rooms were really well maintained and services provided were exceptional.

The Barfung Retreat offers accommodation in Ravangla. At the bed and breakfast, all rooms include a wardrobe. The rooms have a TV, and some rooms are equipped with a mountain view. The hotel is a lovely respite from dusty Ravangla, but also an easy taxi ride to and from the nearby sites. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Walks near the hotel were a peaceful diversion. A great place to stay.
