We could use the kitchen, including oven, fridge and dishwasher, and our son could play on the huge lawn. We felt like at home

We liked everything. We felt like we were at our grandparents house, for the comfort and their way to treat the people. The house is simply a dream, but we would have liked to stay for another night. They serve MAAANY delicious things for breakfast, included the typical irish ones, and everything is really good. I think we have been even more lucky because we are close to christmas and all the house was full of christmas decorations and it was so beautiful! Nothing to say, but positive things.

Owner/manager Bernie could not have been more lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for her to make my stay comfortable and convenient. The location is so special, incredibly historic (ask her about the famous residents of her property from the past!) And fun, fun, fun for kids or anyone who loves looking at lovely farm animals eating their breakfast! Just the best place to stay in the middle of the countryside, but so convenient to the motorway to get back to Dublin or out to the Wild Atlantic West!

Lír B&B, a property with a garden, is set in Multyfarnham, 14 km from Mullingar Arts Centre, 14 km from Mullingar Greyhound Stadium, as well as 29 km from Loughcrew Historical Gardens & Visitor... It was within walking distance of pubs, restaurants, gardens, and parks. Catherine was so lovely. Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

Seber House, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Kilbeggan, 12 km from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, 20 km from Dun na Si Heritage & Genealogical Centre, as well as 29 km from Mullingar... Excellent host who could not do enough for us. We could park Bikes in secure rear yard. Very good breakfast choice.

Quietly situated, the family-run Shelmalier House is just 5 minutes’ drive from the town of Athlone. It features a sauna, free Wi-Fi, and free private parking. This place was wonderful. The owner Jim went out of his was to make us welcome and comfortable. There was glitch in our plans and Jim went out of his way to get it fixed fot us. It was raining and we got wet and cold-he brought us a heater.that warmed us up. He could not have been more helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this place. 😀

On the West bank of the River Shannon, Shannonside House is set within large, private gardens. Guests can enjoy home cooking and free parking, and Athlone's centre is a 5-minute walk away. Linda and her husband were very kind and welcoming! The place is very cozy, just outside the city centre in a calm neighborhood. Nice traditional breakfast! We loved playing with the dogs Bailey and Jenny in the backyard! Thank you for the warm welcome Linda!
