Owner/manager Bernie could not have been more lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for her to make my stay comfortable and convenient. The location is so special, incredibly historic (ask her about the famous residents of her property from the past!) And fun, fun, fun for kids or anyone who loves looking at lovely farm animals eating their breakfast! Just the best place to stay in the middle of the countryside, but so convenient to the motorway to get back to Dublin or out to the Wild Atlantic West!

It was within walking distance of pubs, restaurants, gardens, and parks. Catherine was so lovely. Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

Seber House, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Kilbeggan, 12 km from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, 20 km from Dun na Si Heritage & Genealogical Centre, as well as 29 km from Mullingar... Excellent host who could not do enough for us. We could park Bikes in secure rear yard. Very good breakfast choice.

Inny River Lodge offers a rural setting next to the Inny River and surrounded by unspoilt countryside. Delightful hosts. Horses frolicking in the paddock next door. Quiet. Near the river. Terrific stay.

Quietly situated, the family-run Shelmalier House is just 5 minutes’ drive from the town of Athlone. It features a sauna, free Wi-Fi, and free private parking. This place was wonderful. The owner Jim went out of his was to make us welcome and comfortable. There was glitch in our plans and Jim went out of his way to get it fixed fot us. It was raining and we got wet and cold-he brought us a heater.that warmed us up. He could not have been more helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this place. 😀
