My Little Suites in Ermoupoli provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and barbecue facilities. This bed and breakfast provides free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Great balcony and spa with a great view across the town from the high up position. Hosts were very approachable and picked us up from the ferry port and helped us with a few errands. Room is comfy and clean and has AC which is needed. All water and coffee was restocked daily. Breakfast was on the balcony at a time requested and very good Location is great for the views. It's a 12 to 15 min walk into town mostly flat and then gentle steps down. Walk back from town in the evening after drinks and dinner may be too much as it will all be uphill. Taxi from town was only 4 to 5 Euro anyway and the better option.

On arrival we were greeted by the owner, who was very welcoming. The studio is spacious and has everything you need for a stay, and is 3 minutes walk from the beautiful Kini beach. The highlight is definitely the terrace.

It must be said that our room, as well as the entirety of Villa Maria, was elegantly-decorated, impeccably cared for, tasteful, and, quite simply, beautiful. When Costas met us at Miaouli Square and proceeded to retrieve my wife’s carry-on suitcase as well as another roller bag from another couple also booked into the guest house, carry them up the MANY stairs (perhaps the only caveat to consider depending on one’s fitness level) to the house, while he negotiated simultaneous conversations in Greek and English to accommodate both couples, we knew we were in for a pleasant stay. Later, his recommendations for beaches, restaurants, tavernas, and delicious gelato, and more—all clearly plotted into a map for our use—were fine-tuned after a bit of conversation to suit us. And even though we usually like to discover destinations on our own when we travel, we soon found ALL of his recommendations hit the mark! Elisa, too, encouraged us to imagine that we were living in our own private island home away from home. A mix up in scheduling for her Greek cooking class—a guest’s mistake, not hers—meant that our late-notice sign-up for the afternoon would have to be cancelled.

Just 300 metres from Syros Port, 1901 Hermoupolis offers accommodation in Ermoupoli. Rooms come with Laura Ashley linens and Tempur mattresses. We had a beautiful room with a large upstairs terrace with a gorgeous view of the port. The bed was comfortable with nice bedding. Hot water. Good wifi. Excellent housekeeping. The best was the owner, Vickie, who picked us up very late (after 01:00) at the port, helped with luggage, and was very responsive to all inquiries and questions. Delightful.

We really loooveed the view, the location, the room, the beds, the cleanness, the owner Mr Giorgos and Katerina from the housekeeping. They were very friendly,helpful and very good people. Great hospitality. 1000 thank you is not enough.
