Set in Longnor, within 11 km of Buxton Opera House and 22 km of Chatsworth House, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese offers accommodation with a bar as well as free private parking for guests who drive. A wonderful place and a more than warm and welcoming host and staff. I'll come again.

Situated in Newcastle under Lyme, ISUITES is a recently renovated accommodation, 4.1 km from Trentham Gardens and 28 km from Alton Towers. Location great - five minutes walk into the centre of town for shops and buses. The quiet. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Very clean. New bathroom. Access to full kitchen with free coffee etc. Kevin is a good host - full introduction to facilities. I liked the style of the old renovated house.

Situated in Eccleshall, in a historic building, 18 km from Trentham Gardens, Eagle House - award winning luxury B&B and Apartment is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and shared... From the moment we arrived to be greeted with home baked flapjacks we knew we were in for a treat. Fantastic stay with lovely hosts and the best breakfast of our entire holiday. Would highly recommend!

Set in Biddulph and with Capesthorne Hall reachable within 19 km, The Royal Oak offers express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Comfortable room and good bathroom facilities. Tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge in room. Sainsburys a few doors away. In the centre of town but the road was quite quiet. We tried our first oatcake ever for breakfast from Poveys, who are across the road. Brilliant 360° view from Mow Cop Folly, which is not far away. Lovely friendly people.

Situated in Leek, 18 km from Alton Towers and 21 km from Buxton Opera House, Black Lion Inn features a restaurant, mountain views and free WiFi. A very charming place in a lovely village. Very friendly and welcoming staff with a personal approach. All the necessary comforts. There's something very satisfying about staying in an inn... perhaps it's the history the building makes you think of, or the warmth of its busyness, or the pint you can pop down for... Not sure... but we loved the place!

The Sutherland Arms, a property with a bar, is situated in Stoke on Trent, 36 km from Capesthorne Hall, 38 km from Buxton Opera House, as well as 49 km from Chillington Hall. The room was so comfortable and well designed. The kitchen was well stocked and had a free washer and dryer that was very useful. Breakfast was self-serve cereals, yoghurts, eggs, and bread.

Set in Leek and within 19 km of Alton Towers, The Fountain Inn features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Leek is a beautiful town, everything in walking distance. The bed had lots of pillows which made it extra comfy and luxurious. I felt really safe as a single woman traveling alone. Great atmosphere and friendly locals in the pub. Huge bonus was that the room had a mini fridge! So I could buy a few supplies and food at the market and keep it fresh. Absolutely loved my stay.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, High View Cottage is situated in Uttoxeter, 17 km from Alton Towers and 29 km from Trentham Gardens. What a beautiful location, very nice and clean and welcoming. Could not have asked for a better stay over.
