St Johns House Lichfield is located in the heart of central Lichfield, a 2-minute walk from Lichfield City Train Station and a 5-minute walk from Lichfield Cathedral. The building is amazing and has a great location for food shopping and late night drinks, The staff are very helpful and polite, I would definitely recommend and stay here again. 🥸👌

Set in Longnor, within 11 km of Buxton Opera House and 22 km of Chatsworth House, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese offers accommodation with a bar as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Separate from the main pub so nice and quiet. Clean. Very friendly staff. Good food.

Situated in Newcastle under Lyme, ISUITES is a recently renovated accommodation, 4.1 km from Trentham Gardens and 28 km from Alton Towers. Great location, friendly staff, will go there again on next visit

Situated in Eccleshall, in a historic building, 18 km from Trentham Gardens, Eagle House - award winning luxury B&B and Apartment is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and shared... Beautiful property with wonderful decor and furnishings, and superb comfort, especially the suitably cool interiors on this very hot weekend. I was in Eccleshall for a Christening party and those of us who stayed at Eagle House enjoyed a comfortable and sound night's sleep - unlike some of our party who stayed elsewhere - and an easy bathroom to freshen up. Lovely hosts who were welcoming, very helpful but also not intrusive. They seemed to have thought of everything I might need. I felt cocooned and really well looked after all weekend. Wish I could have stayed much longer! Thank you so much!

Set in Biddulph and with Capesthorne Hall reachable within 19 km, The Royal Oak offers express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Comfortable room and good bathroom facilities. Tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge in room. Sainsburys a few doors away. In the centre of town but the road was quite quiet. We tried our first oatcake ever for breakfast from Poveys, who are across the road. Brilliant 360° view from Mow Cop Folly, which is not far away. Lovely friendly people.

Situated in Leek, 18 km from Alton Towers and 21 km from Buxton Opera House, Black Lion Inn features a restaurant, mountain views and free WiFi. A very charming place in a lovely village. Very friendly and welcoming staff with a personal approach. All the necessary comforts. There's something very satisfying about staying in an inn... perhaps it's the history the building makes you think of, or the warmth of its busyness, or the pint you can pop down for... Not sure... but we loved the place!

The Sutherland Arms, a property with a bar, is situated in Stoke on Trent, 36 km from Capesthorne Hall, 38 km from Buxton Opera House, as well as 49 km from Chillington Hall. I have stayed in my "Pub rooms" in small towns in the UK, and this was one of the best rooms in terms of space, decor, working heat and water and helpful staff. Also, they had a great electronic security entrances that made it better for coming in late after a play.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, High View Cottage is situated in Uttoxeter, 17 km from Alton Towers and 29 km from Trentham Gardens. Stayed at High View with my daughter as we were visiting Alton Towers for her 19th birthday. These are beautiful cottages. Stunning grounds with lovely outdoor seating areas. My daughter and I sat out with drinks and snacks playing cards until almost midnight and were undisturbed. Immaculately clean rooms, beautifully decorated. All coffee tea facilities with cups, plus some glasses and glass tumblers. Fresh bottled water supplied for kettle. Shower perfect temp and flow, with lovely shampoo/conditioner etc supplied. Hairdryer in living room drawer. Towels displayed on bed tied up in ribbon. Lovely attention to detail. Cookies as welcome gift. Bedside lamp plus a fan if warm at night. WiFi was fast and good strong connection. TV in room with built in DVD player and a lovely little selection of DVDs in drawer to enjoy. Gorgeous beds, a real focal point and super comfy. Didn't want to get out of mine! Very quiet at night, no disturbances. Pre-booked breakfast. English breakfast, cooked to perfection. Also offered a choice of cereals and fruit juices. Cannot fault this place. Lovely family run business. Keely and her family are so friendly and welcoming and will go out of their way to help make your stay comfortable. Worth every penny and will definitely stay again. Thank you Keely for helping to add that special touch to my daughter's birthday treat. We will return :)
