Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. The room was big enough, clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any request we had. Absolutely recommended. The location is perfect because the bus stop to Windermere and the city centre was 2 mins away.

A Jerichos é uma casa de hóspedes contemporânea de gerência familiar com uma decoração elegante situada numa rua lateral tranquila no coração da vila de Windermere. Lovely and central, very clean and very friendly, breakfast was delicious with lots of choices and the hosts were very friendly could not find a fault at all would definitely stay there again.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. Rooms were small, but very clean and comfortable. The staff and the breakfast were both excellent.
