A wonderful place to stay at the end of our Pennine Way walk. Lovely room and bathroom. Very nice breakfast and really friendly staff. Beautiful views of the hills from our room.

Black Burn Lodge B&B has a selection of attractive bed and breakfast accommodation in the Scottish Borders, around 25 miles north of Carlisle. We can highly recommend this place. We enjoyed our time on and around the beautiful property. The host and hostess were exceptionally helpful and informative. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating area near the river. If you are going to the Newcastleton area, this is where you should stay.

We loved the historic building and especially the warm fire in the dining room during breakfast. What a setting!
