They were very friendly and were very knowledgeable about the history of Calais which they were happy to share with me. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and the dinner was exceptional...one of the best fish I have ever had! I highly recommend stopping here for any occasion. The rooms are very unique and have a story behind them. 10 out of 10 recommend!

The room is lovely, large, comfortable, clean, warm and with a beautiful view. 5-10mins walk to the center and nice bars or restaurants. Breakfast was peaceful, with a nice view and appretizing.

The breakfast was very enjoyable, I have bacon and eggs freshly cooked as well as a range of fruit, cereal's, crossants, yoghurts etc.

Excellent and knowledgeable kind and helpful staff with excellent tips for tourists. Room and bed were large, quiet and comfortable for a couple. Breakfast was very good with local pastries, breads, cheeses and meats. Parking was excellent and safe and secure for travellers with foreign cars. Lille and the tourist sights were convenient to reach by public transport.

Our guests were very welcoming and directed us to local sights and restaurants. The accommodation was exquisite. Petit Dejeuner with home-made marmalade was wonderful. Marie Louise and her husband were wonderful! It was such a beautiful French home and the cats were lovely, friendly and funny! The room was quite comfortable and I had the whole floor to myself. I went to breakfast in the morning and walked into a setting fit for a queen! It was beautiful, plentiful and delicious. I would definitely recommend this authentic French home! Marie Louise took me to the ferry and it was better by far than a taxi! Wonderful stay, I'd go back.
