Fantastic breakfast, the host cooked delicious gluten-free cake as we are intollerant to gluten-free Location 100 mt from the breach on second row of house, so no fear of big waves! Very nice beach and bay Room located in a very quiet area, 20min walk from the city center walking of the very nice promenade of Saint Malo. City center has many really good restaurants. Large Carrefour supermarket 5 min walking from house Super nice decor inside and outside the house Room is spacious, excellent bathroom Super friendly host

Fabulous host .Rooms renovated to a high standard with very comfy beds and a great shower .Very peaceful nights sleep Excellent location for exploring the coast . We stayed one night at the end of our holiday so that we could have a short journey to catch the ferry from St Malo. - an easy twenty minutes away. What a find… beautifully simple well designed accommodation, with quality bedding and towels, soap, bed and shower . Really tasteful complimentary colours on the walls - beautifully done. We had to leave early before the normal breakfast time so the owner provided some breakfast things before we left. - again good quality and carefully chosen for a tasty breakfast. Easy 7 minute walk to the beach - the owner suggests arriving between 5.30 and 7ish but if you arrive early and want to go to the lovely and popular beach I would suggest you go straight there rather than trying to park in the public parking areas nearby - didn’t realise how. close this house is to the beach. Although we didn’t eat there we would recommend the local restaurant just up the road (the only one) - the owner will give you the details but here they are again (‘Le Château de Sable close to the house (1 mn') welcome you from Wednesday to Sunday evening (with a reservation @+33 2 99 89 01 26). ‘). A beautiful end to the holiday.

We were truly delighted with our stay. The accommodation is nestled right in the heart of the old city, offering a genuine glimpse into its rich history. Despite the building's impressive age of 400 years, the room amenities are refreshingly modern. Please note, there isn't an elevator, so those staying on higher floors will need to navigate the historic stairs. This might be a consideration for those who find steep stairs challenging. However, for those who can, it's a truly unique experience. The owner was wonderfully attentive, preparing our breakfast to our preferences. While the breakfast was simple, it was delicious. Given the challenges of securing a taxi in St. Malo, we're especially grateful for the owner's assistance in arranging one for our departure.
