Cherry on top was the personalised breakfast prepared by the host. The town of Pals itself is for someone looking for a peaceful getaway an hour’s drive away from the city of Barcelona. We would love to visit again and definitely recommend this place for a couple or a family.

The kitchen and living room are shared with other guests and are a great opportunity to hang out or get to know other travelers. Our room was very nice and cozy and we also enjoyed having a pool to cool off. The proximity to the beach and a supermarket is great.

The French border is also just 20 minutes' drive away. Hostal La Florida is a real gem. This was my second visit. Spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. Good breakfast buffet which we ate in the garden area. Room was cleaned and tidied each morning.
