The owners were fantastic and very helpful recommending local places to eat and helped with info on activities. Henry made excellent breakfasts everyday. This hotel is just a block away from the small bus terminal that services Barichara and all the local towns and just a few blocks from main park in San Gil. Super clean and a good choice of room types. We felt at home and will always return.

The staff of the family run hostel were very nice and super helpful. The facility’s are clean and location is perfect. We were even invited to play soccer with the locals which was organized by Diego the hostel owner.

Everybody feels so welcome there. The house is big, rooms are big, so much space, a colonial style old farm house with only nature around, views to valleys. 1515 above sea level, lovely winds all afternoons. Not hot , not cold, perfect clima.

Everything! If we could give a higher rating, we would. The house was beautiful with a nice terrace on the top with view over the mountains. Our room was great too, with nice sheets, a good mattress and a big bathroom with hot water. But what made it into something special was the good care of our host Alicia. She was so helpful and accommodating and made us a super nice breakfast every morning. We cannot thank her enough! We were really sad to leave this lovely place. ❤️
