Offering a restaurant and a bakery, Hirschen Wald is located in the village of Wald and features rooms with free WiFi. The location is exceptional, one a one lane road in the mountains of Appenzell. It was mid April but we had a lot of snow every day, but the roads were plowed and the hotel is very accessible, even in poor weather. The hotel is old but the interior is updated and the rooms are large, modern, and very clean. The food is excellent and they cooked two unique Swiss items for us that were not on the menu. The staff is exceptional.

In a renovated Art Nouveau building in the centre of Schwellbrunn in the Appenzellerland region, B&B Rössli offers free WiFi access and a large terrace with views of Säntis Mountain. The B&B is in the middle of the village with a wonderful view. Esther and Ueli are hosts the way you want them to be. They do their work with a lot of love and helpfulness. The breakfast is delicious. They value regional, organic products, if possible from the village. The bathroom is very clean. When I come back, I'll go to the Rössli :-)

Located 1 km from the centre of Gais high above Lake Constance, Bären - Das Gästehaus is a small and stylish boutique hotel surrounded by gardens. It offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking. This was our second time staying here and we plan to continue returning! The couple that owns the guesthouse goes above and beyond, they are so sweet and hospitality is 10/10. Great decor, cleanliness, spaciousness, etc. Thank you!

An amazing host Lise - a very helpful, knowlegable and friendly person with who I had a very intersting conversation. I would honestly recomend this BnB to anyone. Such a lovely athmosphere built by Lise. I can’t wait to find some time and go back :) A wonderful breakfast served by Lise with a super cheap price. Amazing, tasty, fresh and healthy. Rhubarb jam made by Lise - out of this world. Thank you.

Located in Gais, 17 km from Olma Messen St. Gallen, Ferienhotel Idyll Gais provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. It is a beautiful location with a peaceful and serene vibe. I love all the outdoor seating nooks. The host was very friendly and helpful. I wish we had booked more nights at this place.

Lovely traditional building with great renovation and amazing japanese lacquered shower by Salomé Lippuner.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Gästehaus Krone is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Schönengrund, 19 km from Säntis. Number was perfect and stuff was totally nice too. In old or maybe ancient Switzerland style, so its really interesting place. Also, I like decoration and furniture in my room.
