It was mid April but we had a lot of snow every day, but the roads were plowed and the hotel is very accessible, even in poor weather. The hotel is old but the interior is updated and the rooms are large, modern, and very clean. The food is excellent and they cooked two unique Swiss items for us that were not on the menu. The staff is exceptional.

As there were no other guests, she kindly gave us our choice of rooms which we appreciated, We chose one overlooking the road but the only sounds we heard were of cowbells as they lulled us to sleep! There was a large common room with a kettle and plenty of tables and chairs to drink tea, play cards pr just relax. Our room was prettily decorated with matching pillows and bedspread and oodles of space including two chairs. What a shame we only had the one night to stay.
