El Clubhouses StefVall está situado en la bonita localidad de Glavatartsi, en las montañas del este de Ródope, en una colina situada entre dos brazos en el corazón de la presa de Kardjali. The houses were very modern with a interesting layout with a view to Kardzhali dam. The room we stayed at was very cozy, clean, with good facilities and had a confortable entrances. In the house there is a large kitchen area fully equipped with everything, even better than a person can imagine. The staff was very polite and made us feel welcome. There were even few bikes on the side that the guest can use and provided us with a map to all sightseeings nearby. Glavatartsi is more or less a hotel/villas area, there are no groceries stores in the village, but there were a few restaurants. We enjoyed our stay, especially because we were visiting during not a busy period.

El Lakeview Estate B&B está situado a orillas del lago Kardzhali, en Staro Myasto, en la región de Kardzhali, y ofrece apartamentos modernos con vistas panorámicas al lago. The view was magnificent and the space in the apartment and terrace wonderful. Fully equipped as you really do need to be self catering due to its isolation. The fridge was well stocked for breakfast, cold drinking water provided as well as tea and coffee. Very comfortable indeed. The track down to the apartments is steep and rough but we were escorted down by Shaban who settled us in and was on hand if we needed anything. He can help you restock if you run out. The only shower in Bulgaria not to flood the bathroom during our entire holiday! Lake lovely to swim in but take river shoes to make getting in easier.

I grew up in Kardjali and know the area around Glavatartsi and Arda river extremely well. However, I did not know what to expect from Villa Irina, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. First, I met Irina, the owner of the property, who is a wonderful and cordial person, and she made sure I had everything that I needed. The villa can comfortably host 4-5 adults, as we were very comfortable staying 3 adults and 3 children. The quality of the furnishing, kitchen appliances, space, and view are for property at much higher category than its star rating. It was an exceptional value for the money at the prices we paid in July 2022. Finally, it is at a prime location between two of the best hotels in the village. You can enjoy everything around, and have the privacy and home feeling.
