Each air-conditioned room is elegantly furnished and includes a flat-screen satellite TV. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the room. The private bathroom includes a shower.

Free private parking is available on site, and an airport shuttle service is offered at a charge. The Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is a 60-minute drive from the lodge.

The moment we stepped after a long drive into Turaco Lodge we were embraced by Terry and Trudy like long lost family members. They kindly toured us around, explained everything such as honesty bar, coffee machine and showed us our suite with living room, two bedrooms and ensuite bathroom. Everything was shipshape and when I had a glimpse in Terrie's stock/service room I understood why: there is a very organized, orderly mind in charge. This order showed throughout our stay. Wether a superbly prepared breakfast basket by the staff at 4am ready for game drives, or a neatly braai (traditional SA barbecue) set up with finest south african meat delicacies...it was always ideal. The owner himself, Marcel, a lovable fellow, who takes guest entertainment and their well being seriously, was grilling the outstanding meat to perfection. Terry, Trudy and Marcel shared their fast and in depth knowledge of all animals in the park with us and particularly Terry is a nature enthusiast par excellence. One more issue: Marcel has a good contact for game drives. His name is Dirk Grove and he is one of the most outstanding guides we ever experienced. Very skilled and reliable driver, always on the lookout for animals, well learned about their behaviour and more than lucky to find them. We saw with him a leopard with his kill resting on a thick branch in the shade, 13 rhinos, among them a mother and her calf and a pride of three large male lions and six lionesses gathering up for the nightly hunt in a river bed. A game drive with Dirk is something special! Highly recommended. The lodge patio is regularly visited by the free roaming animals (impala, kudu, zebra, vervet monkeys, bushbabies or Galagos etc) in Marloth park. Lovely sights indeed.

The warm welcome by the owner set the tone. The friendly and super efficient staff kept us feeling welcome. The place is fully equipped and super clean. The beds are comfortable and ensure a good night's rest. The abundant wildlife (comprising wildebeest, giraffe, kudu, bushbuck, duiker, zerbra, bush baby, warthogs and many birds to mention a few) kept us entertained and came as close as three meters from where we sat. Even your car is kept safe under a carport.

A true definition of “living with nature”. A beautiful, quiet, clean lodge with very pleasant hosts and staff. We had an amazing time celebrating my husband’s birthday- with the lodge arranging a private game drive and a romantic candlelight dinner for us!!

Everything was perfect! It is a beautiful, quiet place and the animals came right up to see us. On one of the days we had a giraffe and baby and 5 other giraffes visit. The kids loved the place and pool. The pool was a really good size and the kids enjoyed it so much. Nils helped us organise our game drives. Best stay in the bush, so relaxing and exceeded our expectations. The house had everything we needed, gorgeous touches of luxury and comfy beds. Aircon was blissful. Thank you!

The property is large with all you may need. The pool was great, the air conditioning essential. It is well located in Marloth, being quiet and private without having to travel on too many dirt roads. Media streaming on the smart TV was good.

The perfect place to relax and unwind. It was peaceful and private. Gail was a great hostess. Elizabeth made delicious meals with Spendoloo doing our fire. She taught us traditional way to eat an African meal. We went on a game drive with Ingrid and had awesome sightings in Kruger and she was knowledgeable and happy to stop whenever we wanted. Great picnic on board too. The accommodation was fantastic. Clean, spacious and fully equipped. Luxurious actually.

This is a very quiet and remote place. Wild animals playing around while you take a dip in the private pool. No braai area but Louise made sure there’s an electric braai stand for all your braaing needs. On your trip to by any form of supplies, be it bread or some drinks, you get to see Zebras, antelopes, giraffes and warthogs
