From a western point-of-view, it's not easy to give away control, but .... Hakuna Matata ... everything WILL be alright !! Basically, you step in an air-conditionned taxi, do what you wanted to do and get back. We usually ordered dinner and we were never disappointed !!

The service was great, they organised our taxis to and from the airport and got up at 3am to let us in as our flight arrived during the night. We were also able to leave our bags with them in the afternoon while we finished doing a bit of visiting before catching another plane to mainland Tanzania. Right in town but nice and quiet and safe.

The host and his stuff members were very friendly and helping with everything we needed. The host arranged a taxi driver to pick up us from the airport for a very reasonable price. The location is great, you are just in couple minutes at the beach, where you can enjoy your drink at some beach bar. Regarding excursions, feel free to ask the host what he recommends. He organised for us a day trip to prison island and nakupenda. All in total was a great value for money and a nice experience. A very concrete sign, that the satisfaction of his guests is the main interest of this host, is that he asked everytime if everything went well during our stay in stone town. I totally recommend this place to stay!
