We were very satisfied with this hotel. The surrounding area is stunning, breakfast has many healthy options, the town is quiet at night but we found two very tasty restaurants nearby. The house is spotless clean, Teresa is a very polite and helpful caretaker.

Magical place! Stunning house with pool on the grounds of a great Quinta overlooking the Douro. It‘s the only guest accomodation on the wine producing Quinta at the moment, tastefully decorated. Patricia is a great host. She has been walking us through the wine, explaining everything. The wine tasting had been wonderful, the elegant wines absolutely great. We definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay.

Everything was beautiful, clean, and well put together. Beds are low to the floor, but very comfortable. Everything is new and nice in rooms. Breakfast room/ community kitchen area is so well organized, clean, and has everything. You can purchase drinks, food, wine , and other items on honor system. Hostess is incredibly friendly. The total experience was a 10 !

Excellent location, quiet & so tradional. Well looked after by Isabel & Francisco. Food first class. Swimming pool great to use at the end of the day, followed by a lovely, locally sourced evening meal followed by a glass or two on the terrace.

I loved the location. There are hiking trails where you can do bird watching and go thru the wine yards. There are facilities for kayaking too, everything included (paddles, kayaks, and lifesavers). The stay includes a tour of the process and degustation of wine.

The property is charming and private as the house was located separately. It had only land and nature in its surroundings which was perfect. The house itself was full of charming elements preserving its antique appeal while having all the modern commodities. The staff made us feel at home and we would love to visit again.
