This place is fantastic. We were given a free room upgrade. It looks fairly unassuming from outside, but inside is very nicely done. The rooms were basic but clean and pleasant, and excellent value for money. But the real attraction is the restaurant and in particular its fresh fish dishes. There is also a clear commitment to sustainable and environmentally-friendly business (without being preachy about it) and extremely helpful staff. Next to the guesthouse is a small park and path down to the lake where there is a little beach for swimming and a circular walk aroud the lake. The whole village feels like a place that is really on the up (as the development plans on public display seem to confirm).

Great place - particularly for families with children. Calm and clean. Comfortable rooms, very nice owner, a playground in the garden and a room full of toys inside the house. Plus an option to order breakfast. A short driving distance from several lakes and other interesting sites.
