Quiet, convenient place to stay in Invercargill. Nice to be able to walk to the CBD, good parking across the road, and comfortable bed and great bathroom. Highly recommended.

I like the room, it was very cosy. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The location was ideal - it was in the countryside but still only 10 minutes drive into town. It was lovely to have breakfast with Anne-Marie and John in their kitchen and have a chat with them. John gave us a tour of his garden and let us feed one of his deer.

Our two hosts were most gracious and worked to meet all of our needs. The breakfast was lovely and I enjoyed our conversations with the hosts. Very much appreciated touring their veggie garden! You can't go wrong with this accommodation. We arrived late and Clare met up with warm banana bread and tea:)

Loved the location quietness and the company at dinner. Great hosts with a lot in common and who where very accommodating. The dinner meals were all home cooked and reminded me of home.

The Villa Rouge is in a beautiful old house in a quiet neiborhood in Invercargill. Our room was very comfortable. The house is extensively decorated with beautiful artwork. The hosts are delightful. We would stay there again and recommend it to others. We used this as a staging stop for taking the ferry to Stewart Isalnd. Invergargill is a relatively large city with many services. We stumbled on an excellent breakfast in the motercycle museum downtown.

Our stay at Milton Park Estate was exceptional. The property is gorgeous- lovely flowers, trees, fantail birds. It’s like staying in a botanical garden. The guest house is private and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. The jacuzzi tub was a delight. This was one of our best stays on our three week trip.

A comfortable bed with a design home. Delicious breakfast and friendly host. Wake up in the morning to the sunshine of the garden and a chorus of birds. I really love this place.

The hostess was very helpful, even though I booked the wrong day for our return stay. She also was able to book our ferry travel and an excursion on Stewart Island. The property is older but very clean and quiet. Free parking. Location is central to what we wanted
