Kishan and his colleague (sorry we don't remember the name) were really helpful and kind every single second!! They helped me to find petrol for my tuktuk Food was delicious (milk rice for breakfast was excellent, Sri Lankan omelette really tasty) The views are breathtaking (just as a tip check if you are coming when the reservoir is full).

We had a great 3 night stay at Butterfly Mountian Lake Side. The deck was great and the food and hospitality was over the top. Great service, nice meals and friendly staff.

The hotel is placed near the lake with a beautiful view. The family owning the hotel made the stay an incredible experience by being extremely friendly with us. They made us amazing food which we enjoyed while watching the sunset. Best of luck to them!

The location was very convenient. If you were to hike Adam's peak. They prepared vegetarian food for us on request. Food was delicious. They are pricing was reasonable. Highly recommend staying there.

I really liked the White House Guesthouse, to be honest, I have never been taken care of so much, everything I asked for was fulfilled right there. Very kind, hospitable staff, especially the owner, always smiling, speaks very good English and always happy to help with anything, and I never once felt that he was doing it for money - it was an amazing experience of hospitality that lasted almost a month that I lived there. It’s very clean, they clean it when you ask, if there’s something wrong with the room, they move you, and as in my case, one day the tap leaked and I couldn’t move things because I was busy from morning to evening, but I needed something do and I was offered to move all my things to another room as if I lived there, when I returned, I couldn’t believe it, I went into a new room, and all my things were in their places, as if it were the same the room itself. In general, I felt like a very dear guest there, I wish you to try to live there to get an experience of care that you are unlikely to encounter often. Thank you very much to the whole team and especially the owner, and of course all staff. 🙂
