Location is prime. Such a close walk to the beach and other coves for snorkeling. Outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Food at the cafe was so convenient and delicious after spending the day at the beach. Private bathroom in the room.

Shinji and his friend are the best host possible ! They made my stay incredible with meeting great people, having great discussions and a very relaxing trip. The guesthouse has everything you need. It’s very clean. The bikes are available for free which makes it great to go to the beach and the restaurant. It’s surrounded by nature so very calm. Great surfing school owned by Shinji! Note that it’s self check in which also makes it easy when you arrive :)

I loved the fact it was very close to the beach, just a few minutes walk. The place has beautiful and stylish interior. The room was big and clean, the breakfast was good and on top of all that there was an amazing onsen in the place. I Highly recommend, we had a perfect stay.

Rural in a small seaside village. Traditional, modest and very clean. Very quiet, cannot hear the traffic, just nature, excellent location, close to the beaches. Crockery available and nearby shop.

We went here for a weekend trip to the Shimoda area, it's a nicely decorated place in surf-style, the host was nice and even let us pick our room-style. The location is right in front of a bus stop and very close to the beach.

This place was so cool. We booked last minute due to a mistake with our other place. The host met us and showed us around. Set up a charcoal BBQ. It is SUCH a cool spot. The room has tatami and you set up a bed. All the kitchen things you need. The view is incredible....I highly recommend.

A clean, rustic and comfy place. We had a personal welcome from the host and his staff, they explained detailed the house facilities. We enjoyed the fireplace and the spectacular sunrise view from the balcony! If we had a great experience in the winter, can’t imagine in spring, summer or fall, just looking forward to it. The facilities suit the budget. If I can suggest some improvement - hot water for drink or instant ramen, either thermos flask or electric kettle would be convenient.

Very homey, close to the station and beaches. Tomi is friendly and helpful. Bicycle rental was perfect. Everything was great.
