I had a great stay at Hostel Knot! The hosts were very nice and kind people. Jamie helped me out so much and I would be extremely grateful for that. It is conveniently located near the onsens, the Shuzenji temple and the bamboo grove. I will certainly come back again! Thank you so much for the wonderful time!

Beautiful, remote location, with a river running down below, creating a perfect atmosphere to relax. Stayed together with my partner it's the perfect place. Peace and quiet, baths at the pension as well as delicious food in the morning. If you have access to a car, I highly suggest this place over others. We highly recommend this and would come back here if we ever go to Izu again. The absolut best part was the host - on of the kindest people in Japan.

The beds were comfy and in a great dormitory layout. There is a lot of communal space and a big fridge. The showers have great water pressure! I wish we'd tried the cafe downstairs.

I really liked how spacious and traditional our room was for a very affordable price. We even had Yukatas included and the guests can privatize the hostel's onsen which is very beautiful. It was a very good surprise. We were in the middle of nature but still a 15-minute walk from the nearest train station, so that was very convenient.
