It’s a nice property, we had a lovely stay near Grado (it’s about 15 min drive). The village in which the property is located is quaint, room was basic, but had a good size balcony. There’s free parking available in front of the property. Overall, all good. Owner was helpful and friendly.

The Isonzo is set on the grounds of a bunker dating back to the World War I. There are relics from the period on site. The area is full of quiet parks, natural reserves and vineyards. Aquileia is 12 km from B&B Isonzo, while Grado, Gorizia and Palmanova are all 22 km from the bed & breakfast. Udine can be reached in 35 minutes by car.

Everything was clean and neat and the house is beautiful, like a modernized country manor. Very quiet area, with a pleasant, public beach and nature reserve about 10 minutes drive from the house. Loved being able to park in the courtyard. We walked to restaurants nearby, for dinner, and then we could both enjoy some wine.
