Well worth the price just for the incredible view of the Chianti countryside. If you ever wondered what all the fuss about Tuscany is, look no farther than Mancino overlooking the Val D'Elsa, including the towers of San Gimignano. Gianni is a wonderful host and takes great pride in his hospitality including a great breakfast that you can enjoy in the breakfast room, or outside. It is a country house, so don't expect hotel amenities, but everything works (i.e. the air conditioning and the wifi). The location is amongst the vineyards and olive groves, so it is very quiet, but also there is nothing to walk to. It is maybe 15 minutes to Poggibonsi and 25 to San Gimignano. Gianni will help you with reservations, but we'd recommend Trattoria Piazza Di' Gioco in Poggibonsi and Le Vecchie Mura in San Gimignano.

This was our favorite stay in Tuscany while on our Harley tour! We showed up after dark and had a hard time finding it but the owner got in his car and came looking for us. The room was absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable after being on the Harley’s all day. Spectacular accommodations, very helpful owner and beautiful location.

The owner is very pleasant and communicative. The room is spacious and clean. The bed is big and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious. A very large shared kitchen with all necessary contents. Breakfast by arrangement. Courtyard with summer kitchen and places to rest in the shade.. Near the exit to the Firenze - Siena expressway.

The place is gorgeous and cozy, and in a quiet, green location as we were looking for. It was the perfect place to stay after spending the day in busy touristic places. The couple running the place or welcoming and charming. We loved having breakfast outside with their dog Dora. The garden was lovely and the rooms were so cute. We loved it and we would absolutely come back.

Very clean and nicely decorated facility. The hosts were excellent and at your service. Their restaurant and tavern recommendations turned out to be excellent. We definitely recommend. Breakfast was nice and plentiful
