What a wonderful place! - The hosts are very helpful and friendly; - I got my breakfast according to my special (vegetarian) requests; - My room had an airco (very nice to have in June in Italy); - Very clean; - The bed is comfortable and big, I slept like a baby; - Wonderful countryside and very quiet. I really enjoyed my stay at Nonno Peppe. You need to keep in mind that that is a countryside, so no public transport available. I came by car, so I was well prepared. There are many nice places close by: the mountains, the sea, those small Italian typical villages and towns, olive gardens and wineries. Beautiful!

For those who love the sea, the mountains and characteristic villages, Il Glicine is the place to stay. I felt like I was visiting my family, thanks to the hosts. The place is surrounded by rolling hills, in the background the mountain (Unesco heritage), the sea and small villages. In the afternoon, after arriving from Vasto by bike, I stayed in a single room (very spacious) with a spectacular view of the mountain. In the evening I tasted the nearby gourmet pizza (highly recommendable). The next day I went to the nearby mountain, so I visited the canyon and the crystal clear river in Fara San Martino. Afterwards, I visited a medieval castle, and then continued my journey along the coast, towards Pescara. I will definitely be back to find out more about this place.
