Only 50 metres from Lake d'Orta shores, Locanda di Orta is located in the pedestrian-only area of Orta San Giulio, and offers a terrace, a restaurant, and an al fresco bistrot with panoramic views. WiFi is free throughout.

The hotel is an ancient building located in the heart of the beautiful and charming Orta San Giulio; the staff is very nice and ready to support you during your stay. You can add a dinner or a lunch on the lake view terrace (what we did, and it was excellent) or choose the Gourmand option at the Michelin Awarded Restaurant downstairs (for sure, to die for! We will do next time for sure). The breakfast is very nicely designed, with cereals, fruits salad, jams, yogur served in glass jars on the table. The service is friendly and pro. We chose the Deluxe room whose the plus was the hydro massage bathtub! Very relaxing. :-) before going to bed. We appreciated how spacious the room was and its little balcony circled by a magnificent wisteria. The room design is nice, but a bit far from the place's inner soul, in my opinion. Overall, a great experience!
